Meet Rachel Middleton

I am a mother of 3. I have first hand experience of the struggles young people can face when they have additional needs and are not understood by those around them. My oldest son is 19 and diagnosed with high functioning ASD, my other 2 are undiagnosed but have struggled with anxiety an OCD. I work in a primary school offering 1:1 support for mainly children with ASD and love making a difference to their lives. I enjoy volunteering as a trustee for Shine, as its great to see a nursery where every child is given an opportunity to succeed and where their differences are celebrated.
