Saturday Play Scheme (Ages 5–17)

Short Breaks are supportive, fun activities for children and young people with disabilities, aged 5 to 17 years. They give children and young people the chance to play, try new experiences, build friendships and develop independence — all within a safe, inclusive environment.

Short Breaks also provide parents and carers with valuable time to rest, recharge, or attend to things that are difficult while providing full-time care. The sessions benefit everyone involved, offering positive experiences, social opportunities and meaningful support for the whole family.

The Saturday Play Scheme runs every Saturday during term time, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, and is open to children and young people aged 5–17. Sessions focus on fun, exploration and hands-on play, helping each child grow at their own pace.

Every session is delivered by experienced staff who understand additional needs and who create a nurturing, structured and fun environment.
